Learning Abroad Info Sessions: How to Get Started – Academic Year 2023-2024

The sessions are for students who are interested in applying to go on exchange during AY 2023-2024. Come to the session to learn how to apply for an exchange/research opportunities and what are the eligibility to go on exchange. Please attend one of any sessions available in the following. Summer Research is an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on research experience at an international partner university while working towards UofT degree requirements. Successful program applicants are placed at one of 20+ partner institutions based on their discipline, research interest match, and general preference.

This annual fair is a great opportunity for you to learn more about international opportunities available to you! The NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) began in 2001 with a cooperation between National University of Singapore and Stanford University. The Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program operates on the principle of reciprocal exchange and provides the opportunity for outstanding Canadian students to study and/or conduct research in the United States. Award recipients include Canadian citizens who are graduate students, prospective graduate students, or junior professionals.

Topic: Preparing a Successful Application for the Traditional Fulbright Student Awards

Description: Learn more about how to apply for a US$20,000 grant for a nine-month academic year. These all-discipline awards can be taken up at any college, university, think tank, or government agency in the United States.

This webinar that will take place on Oct 22- Thursday at 3 PM EST about the Fulbright Canada Canadian Student application process.

Please note that this presentation is mostly suitable for last year’s undergraduate students or current graduate students.

2022 Program Information Sessions

Join us and learn more about our 2022 Summer Abroad programs! These virtual sessions will be held in January and February and will focus on each of our programs, Summer Abroad application process and the next steps.

Summer Abroad staff and instructors will be present at the beginning of the presentations and a former student participant will be there to answer any questions. You’ll have an opportunity to ask detailed questions about the course and program activities. We look forward to meeting you!
