Learning Abroad Update:

In light of the Canadian government news release on February 15th, we expect Global Affairs Canada to change travel advisories and lift the world-wide advisory to avoid non-essential travel anywhere outside of Canada as of February 28, 2022. As a result, all students will be able to travel internationally on University sanctioned activities, after that date, provided GAC publishes the announced changes on the travel advisory website.

For all students travelling on university sanctioned activity, you must complete all safety abroad pre-departure requirements.

Want an international experience, but are short on time? Experience a different academic environment and cultural interaction by taking short-term courses abroad.

Carry out lab analysis in Sweden, collect data in Mexico or go on a field trip to Hong Kong? You can do intensive short-term research activities in another country!

An internship at a not-for-profit organization in Russia, a placement in Nursing in Spain or in Rural Community in Nicaragua can boost your resume and broaden your professional (and personal!) perspectives.
