Summer Research: Lund University

Located in southern Sweden, just 40 minutes from Copenhagen, Lund University gives international exchange and study abroad students the chance to experience an education from one of Scandinavia’s largest and oldest universities, a style of teaching that facilitates independent thinking, research and group work, and a study destination without the language barrier, as English is widely spoken here. The research placements are open to engineering students and students of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

Engineering students can participate in projects in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Science, Chemical Engineering. Some projects may be open to students in environmental sciences, biology, microbiology and computer science.

Funding: Students applying to Lund University for 12 weeks should also apply for Globalink Research Award. Successful GRA applicants will not be considered for $3000 CIE funding and IE Award because the GRA amount is greater of the two.
