Founded in 1909, ISAE-SUPAERO (Institut supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace) is the first university in the world, dedicated to aeronautics. Being a world leader for higher education in aeronautical and space engineering, the institute offers a large set of programs (Master, PhD, certificates, short courses), and relies on top-level research labs. 40% of the institute graduates are international with 60 nationalities each year.
Based in Toulouse, the European aeronautical and space capital with Airbus headquarters, design office, manufacturing plants, with more than 600 companies and 90 000 jobs in this sector, ISAE-SUPAERO has also strong links and collaborations with the major aerospace industrial companies.
This Opportunity is only open to students registered in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.

There are 2 pathways for this SREP opportunity (please indicate which option you are pursuing in the Program Pathway section of the Learning Abroad application):
a) Not-for-credit (you do not pay U of T tuition or host university tuition).
b) Pre-approved research course: APS299Y0 (engineering, minimum 10 weeks of placement) (1.0 U of T credit and regular summer tuition)
Application Process for APS299Y0:
- Submit CIE application by November 23, 2025.
- Applications will be reviewed by the relevant U of T department
- Successful candidates will receive CIE nomination (SREP is a competitive program and nomination is not guaranteed)
- Nominated students submit partner application following the guideline
- Successful candidates will receive further information from the host university
Application Process for Non-credit:
- Submit CIE application
- Submit partner application (Rolling admissions and students are encouraged to apply early)
- Successful applicants will receive nomination from CIE
- Accepted students will receive admission letter and further instructions from the host university
**Partner Application Guideline:
- Review research project list and identify your interested projects (students may apply to up to 10 projects, subject to availability)
- Complete ISAE-SUPAERO online application and submit supporting documents including CV, motivation letter, and academic record
- Candidates will be contacted by the host university/project supervisor
- Successful applicants will receive further instructions
