Exchange: Technical University of Munich (TUM)

The Technical University of Munich (TUM) was originally known as the Royal Bavarian Polytechnic of Munich when it was founded in 1868. The university spans more than 400 buildings across three campuses in the state of Bavaria: Munich, Garching, and Weihenstephan. TUM is organized into 13 departments and includes an Olympic park and university hospitals, reflecting its comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to education and research. It is ranked #28 in the QS World University Rankings, making it one of the top universities globally, particularly excelling in engineering and technology. TUM has over 160 international partnerships, ranging from joint research activities to international study programs. 

Credit Equivalency: 60 Credits = 5.0 UofT FCE

Funding: DAAD funding is available for this exchange. The funding includes a €1500 stipend for the winter semester only, based on merit, for students who do not receive any other funding for their exchange. Nominated students will be automatically considered.
