Summer Research Exchange: Humboldt University of Berlin

Established more than 200 years ago, in 1810, the Humboldt University of Berlin is one of the most prestigious universities not only in Germany, but in Europe. It has a world class reputation in arts and humanities fields. Research themes in 2022 are biology and neuroscience, cultural & social sciences, musicology & media studies, and physics.

Credit Equivalency: 5.0 FCE UofT = 60 ECTS. Students will complete 15 ECTS credits (1.0 FCE UofT)

Funding: Students applying to Humboldt University of Berlin for 12 weeks should also apply for Globalink Research Award. Successful GRA applicants will not be considered for $3000 CIE funding and IE Award because the GRA amount is greater of the two.

Application Requirements: Upload the following application documents to Mobility Online Portal by December 4, 2023: Statement of Motivation and Recommendation Letter as specified here. Nominated UofT students will get an extended application period to the Humboldt International Program.
