Established more than 200 years ago, in 1810, the Humboldt University of Berlin is one of the most prestigious universities not only in Germany, but in Europe. It has a world class reputation in arts and humanities fields. Research themes in 2022 are biology and neuroscience, cultural & social sciences, musicology & media studies, and physics.
Credit Equivalency: 5.0 FCE UofT = 60 ECTS. Students will complete 15 ECTS credits (1.0 FCE UofT)

Funding: Students applying to Humboldt University of Berlin for 12 weeks should also apply for Globalink Research Award. Successful GRA applicants will not be considered for $3000 CIE funding and IE Award because the GRA amount is greater of the two.
