École Polytechnique is a leading French institute which combines top-level research, academics, and innovation at the cutting-edge of science and technology. The Internship Program for International Students is aimed at supporting and consolidating the collaboration between École Polytechnique and a selected group of international partners, as well as supporting scientific collaborations. The program gives students the opportunity to carry out a 3 to 6-month research internship in the labs of École Polytechnique.

There are 2 pathways for this SREP opportunity (please indicate which option you are pursuing in the Study Plan section of the Learning Abroad application):
a) Not-for-credit (you do not pay U of T tuition).
b) Pre-approved research course: APS299Y0 (engineering) (1.0 U of T credit)
Housing: On-campus housing is guaranteed and nominated students will receive information from the host university.
Application Process for APS299Y0:
- Submit CIE application by November 23, 2025.
- Applications will be reviewed by the relevant U of T department
- Successful candidates will receive CIE nomination (SREP is a competitive program and nomination is not guaranteed)
- Nominated students submit partner application following the guideline
- Candidates may be contacted by the supervisors for interviews at a distance or by email.
- Accepted applicants will be informed by email at the beginning of March

- ♦ Contact details for two referring professors, who will be contacted automatically by the application platform.
- ♦ Scanned copy of your passport
**Note: It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has the required language skills in English or French. No language certificate is required.
