Exchange: University of Hamburg

Universität Hamburg is the largest institution for research and education in the north of Germany. The University boasts numerous interdisciplinary projects in a broad range of subjects and an extensive partner network with leading institutions on a regional, national and international scale. For courses taught in German, German level B1 CEFR is required (B2 is recommended).

Credit Equivalency: 60 ECTS = 5.0 UofT FCE

Available Courses: Check here (Look for Useful links for planning your courses).  Please note that courses in English are mostly available at Master’s level, although some Bachelor’s programs also have some on offer.

Restricted Programs: Dentistry, Pharmacy Medicine and the European Master in Law & Economics programs are not open to exchange students.  Department of Psychology is not open to exchange from 2027-2028 onwards.
