The University of Edinburgh is one of the world’s top 30 universities and located near the beautiful old town portion of Edinburgh. Much like the university, the city of Edinburgh has something for everyone. The University of Edinburgh is home to 50,000 students, with nearly 5,000 visiting and exchange students in 2024. The university boasts a rich academic history with alumni including Charles Darwin, Henry John Temple 3rd Viscount Palmerston, Alexander Graham Bell, and Arthur Conan Doyle. Students have taken courses here in International Relations, English Literature, and Computer Science.
