Technology is at the heart of all disciplines at TU Darmstadt, where the Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities closely cooperate with Engineering. It was founded in 1877 and became the first university in the world to set up a chair in electrical engineering in 1882. Language Requirements: For courses taught in German, a minimum of A2 level German proficiency is required, along with a mandatory intensive German course before the semester starts.
