Exchange: Peking University

Peking University has been a leading institution in China’s higher education since its very establishment in 1898. Over the past century, it has developed into a comprehensive institution of higher learning, embracing diverse branches of knowledge such as Humanities, Engineering, Education and Management Science. It is currently home to over 46,000 students and was ranked #14 in QS World University Rankings. Students have taken courses here in Economics and East Asian Studies. 

Credit Equivalency: 36 Credits = 5.0 UofT FCE

Restricted Programs: Health Science Center, School of Software and Microelectronics, Faculty with special pre-requisites, Tailor-made programs, Double-degree courses, Shenzhen Graduate School, English-taught graduate courses of special Master programs (MBA, Master in International Relations, Master in Public Policy, LLM in Chinese Law, Yenching Academy, etc.), and Chinese-taught Master-level courses are only available with the faculty’s permit. 

Housing: On-campus housing is guaranteed for nominated exchange students from U of T who submit their housing application by the deadline stipulated by the host institution. Students must follow instructions from the host institution, and specific room types and/or locations may not be guaranteed. Please find more information here.
