Peking University has been a leading institution in China’s higher education since its very establishment in 1898. Over the past century, it has developed into a comprehensive institution of higher learning, embracing diverse branches of knowledge such as humanities, engineering, education and management science. Students have taken courses here in Economics and East Asian Studies.

Restricted Programs: Health Science Center, School of Software and Microelectronics, Faculty with special pre-requisites, Tailor-made programs, Double-degree courses, Shenzhen Graduate School, English-taught graduate courses of special Master programs (MBA, Master in International Relations, Master in Public Policy, LLM in Chinese Law, Yenching Academy, etc.), and Chinese-taught Master-level courses are only available with the faculty’s permit.
