Founded in 1425, KU Leuven is among the top 100 universities globally, with all its disciplines in the top 100 of their respective fields as well. KU Leuven believes in research-based education, lectures are taught by the same professors who are performing ground-breaking research as seen in the press. KU Leuven is the cofounder of the League of European Research Universities and has also been constantly named the most innovative university in Europe since 2016, it offers a wide variety of study programmed in English, all supported by innovative and interdisciplinary research. To encourage innovation, KU Leuven provides students with access to well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, such as the FabLab, where students can conduct their own research.
