Exchange: École Polytechnique

École Polytechnique is a leading French institute which combines top-level research, academics, and innovation at the cutting-edge of science and technology. Its academic programs – Bachelor, Ingénieur Polytechnicien, Master’s, Graduate Degree and PhD – are highly selective and promote a culture of excellence with a strong emphasis on science, anchored in humanist traditions.

Credit Equivalency: 60 ECTS = 5.0 UofT FCE

Courses Available: The International Exchange Program enables high-level international scientific students to take part in the:

*On the Study Plan section of your application to CIE, clearly indicate which program you would like to be considered for.  Students selecting Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program must provide proof of French language proficiency if nominated.

Note: Term dates are different for each program.  Please pay close attention to Academic Dates.  Bachelor of Science Program is open to Fall, Winter or Full Year exchange; however, if you are selecting Fall, you can only select 3rd year courses that would complete by the end of December.  Ingénieur Polytechnicien Program is only open to Full Year or Winter exchange.  If you have any questions, please email learning.abroad@utoronto.ca.
