Founded in 1636, Utrecht University is a prestigious international research university, consistently ranked among the top 15 universities in continental Europe and 105 globally. It is a proud member of the League of European Research Universities. The university offers 6 English-taught bachelor’s programs and over 90 English-taught master’s programs. Students from various fields, such as Political Science, Sociology, and Fine Art, have taken courses here.
*Minimum cGPA of 3.0 is required for University College Utrecht (UCU) and University College Roosevelt (UCR). If you are interested in studying at UCU or UCR, please indicate this clearly in the Study Plan section of your exchange application.
Credit Equivalency: 60 Credits = 5.0 U of T FCE
Available Courses: Check here. Students can choose courses from a maximum of two faculties. Because University College Utrecht and University College Roosevelt have different academic calendars, courses at UCU or UCR cannot be combined with courses at other faculties.
Restricted Programs: Medicine (except Biomedical Sciences) and Veterinary Medicine.
