    • Fall exchange will correspond to UNSW’s Tailored Term 3 (WT + T3) which is from August to mid-December and has a course sequence of 1+3
    • Winter exchange will correspond to UNSW’s Tailored Term 1 (ST + T1) which is from January to mid-May and has a course sequence of 1+3
    • Full Year Exchange: students must choose one of the following options and indicate it on their Study Plan section of the online exchange application.
      • a. September-August (UNSW’s Term 3 + Term 1 + Term 2)
      • or b. August-May (UNSW’s Tailored Term 3 and Tailored Term 1)

      Restricted Programs: 

      -> Arts and Social Sciences: Stage 3 Arts courses for declared majors only. INST, GLST, DANC, EDST, MDIA, and Music courses are restricted to majors. 

      -> Law: Restricted to Law Majors. Students cannot take both LAWS and JURD courses simultaneously. Core courses are not available to exchange students. 

      -> Art and Design: Courses held on the Paddington campus, with priority for Art/Design/Media majors. 

      -> School of Business: MARK2999, MARK3999, MARK4999, FINS3100, FINS3200, MARK6xxx, and GBAT courses are not available. 

      -> Medicine: Students can enroll in courses from the School of Medical Science, but courses in the Doctor of Medicine program are not open to exchange students. 

      -> Built Environment: Studio-based courses are limited; flexibility in subject choices is necessary. 

      -> Science: Postgraduate psychology courses are unavailable. Undergraduate psychological coursework is available within the Arts and Science faculties. 

      -> Engineering: Enrollment in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science courses is extremely limited; students should be prepared to select courses from another major. 

      Housing: On-campus housing is not guaranteed. Please find more information here.
