University of Tartu: Summer School

The University of Tartu (UT) is Estonia’s leading centre of research and training. UT preserves the culture of the Estonian people and spearheads the country’s reputation in research and provision of higher education. Students in the past have taken courses here in Commerce and European Studies. This summer, the University of Tartu is offering a 6-week program that takes a deeper look at the Baltic States and their connection to the European Union.

Credit Equivalency: 5.0 credits at UofT = 60 ECTS

 

European Encounters: The Baltics in the European Union – 12 ECTS

Program Dates: 06 July – 14 August, 2020

Spend 6 weeks in the Netherlands, Estonia, and Latvia studying the European identity, along with history, culture, politics, and trade in the Baltic States. The program is a joint offering between Utrecht University, the University of Tartu, and Latvia University, and you will spend two weeks in each country. From lectures to company visits, from museums to the European parliament, you will have a diverse and unforgettable experience in these three distinct yet interconnected countries.

Program Fees: Course materials, excursions, transportation during the program, and accommodation are all included in the cost of the program.

On-campus housing is guaranteed and mandatory. Housing is provided as part of the exchange program.
