Summer Research: University of Stuttgart

The University of Stuttgart is situated in the middle of a highly dynamic economic region with a worldwide reputation for excellence in the fields of mobile and information technology, production, process engineering as well as in life sciences. Today the university is a modern, achievement-orientated institution with a comprehensive range of subjects and a focus on technical and physical disciplines.

Students can participate in projects in various Engineering disciplines and Computer Science.


Credit Equivalency: 
60 Credits = 5.0 UofT FCE. Note: Instead of getting a transcript from the host university, admitted students must enroll in an Independent Research (or similar) course in the equivalent department at U of T.

Departmental approved pathways: Engineering placements not-for-credit (You do not pay U of T tuition).

Housing: Upon request, the host will help to arrange.

Funding: Students applying to University of Stuttgart for 12 weeks should also apply for Globalink Research Award. Successful GRA applicants will not be considered for the $3000 CIE funding and IE Award because the GRA amount is the greater of the two.
