Summer Research: Technical University of Monterrey

Technical University of Monterrey (ITESM) is a private university system founded in 1943 in Monterrey, México. It is a comprehensive university offering PhD, master, undergraduate, and high-school programs in Engineering, Management, Social, Arts and Human Sciences, and Medicine. It holds 31 campuses located across 25 cities in the country, and 22 liaison offices in 15 countries. Tecnológico de Monterrey has eight main strategic research areas which include: biotechnology and food; mechatronics and engineering; information technology, sustainability; public policy; business; medicine; and education, the humanities and the social sciences.

Engineering students can participate in projects in Engineering Science and Electrical Engineering; Arts & Science students can participate in projects in Business, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Education, and Political Science.

 

Credit Equivalency: 2.5 credits at UofT = 48 credits

Departmental approved pathways: Engineering placements not-for-credit (You do not pay U of T tuition)

Research projects: Summer 2020 projects will be confirmed in October. In 2019, students applied to Research groups, Research Program Summer in Mexico
