Summer School Exchange: University of Stuttgart

The University of Stuttgart is situated in the middle of a highly dynamic economic region with a worldwide reputation for excellence in the fields of mobile and information technology, production, process engineering as well as in life sciences. The Summer University is a great opportunity for students who are interested in German language and culture to make new experiences right in the heart of Europe.

Summer University 2024

Credit Equivalency: 60 ECTS = 5.0 UofT FCE. Students will complete a minimum of 9 ECTS (0.5 FCE UofT) and maximum of 13.5 ECTS (1.0 FCE UofT):  9 ECTS for the German course, and in addition, you will have the chance of taking a subject course (4 ECTS) in one of the following areas:

20th Century Architecture
Art History: European Focus
Cross-Cultural Communication
International Business
German Film & Literature

Students are not required to have prior knowledge of German. The students receive 90 hours of German language instructions as well as 45 hours of instructions in an English taught subject course.
