With a main campus nestled in the heart of Taipei, along a winding road lined with towering palm trees, National Taiwan University (NTU) is the oldest university in Taiwan, and the most prestigious. NTU’s contribution to scientific research is impressive: the NTU faculty is collectively ranked among the top 1% in the world by number of highly cited papers. Students studying at NTU can take advantage of its location in the heart of Taipei and its close proximity to public transit to explore local famous attractions and practice their language skills.
NTU Summer+ Programs:
1. +C2 Chinese Translation & Culture Course – (0.5 UofT FCE) OR
2. +R1 Research and Culture Program – (0.5 UofT FCE)
Exchange Application: To participate in this program as an exchange student, you must apply to CIE Learning Abroad by February 14, 2024 and be selected as a nominee. Under the “Study Plan” section of your exchange application, please clearly indicate which program (+C2 or +R1) and the course(s) you are interested in taking. Students participating in this program on exchange basis must pay 0.5 FCE U of T tuition plus the program fee (US$ 2000) to NTU.
Housing: On-campus housing available. Double occupancy (USD $780-$2500 per person for 6 weeks). Students may find their own housing if they are not applying for on-campus housing.
