As one of Europe’s leading research universities, Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) prides itself on a 500 year old tradition of excellence in teaching and research. The European Studies Summer Academy aims to provide an interdisciplinary learning environment in which students can deepen their knowledge of Europe, and especially of the European Union. Students can not only form a solid understanding of the history and structure of regional cooperation in Europe, but will also be introduced to European integration and ongoing crises, while at the same time exploring Munich and immersing themselves in German culture.
