Credit equivalency: 3 CUHK credits = 0.5 UofT FCE. Students can complete 3 or 6 CUHK credits (0.5 or 1.0 UofT FCE).

How to apply (Exchange): UofT students can apply through CIE Learning Abroad to participate in this program as exchange students. Exchange students will pay U of T tuition (equivalent to taking 0.5 or 1.0 FCE course at UofT), and tuition fee at CUHK ISS will be waived. Exchange students must have their courses pre-assessed for transfer credit before their departure. Click on Learn More button below to apply. On your application, please indicate which course(s) you intend on taking at CUHK. Application deadline is February 14, 2024.
How to apply (Non-Exchange): Students can choose to apply to the CUHK ISS independently and pay tuition fee directly to the host institution. After completing the program, credits earned as a Non-Exchange student may be considered for Post-Admission Transfer Credits, but transfer credit is not guaranteed. You must follow your home faculty’s Post-Admission Transfer Credit procedures. It is your responsibility to consult with your Faculty Registrar’s office regarding transfer credits for independent (non-exchange) summer programs. Post-Admission Transfer Credits are different from transfer credits earned through exchange programs, and there is no guarantee that Post-Admission Transfer Credits can be applied to fulfill your program requirements.
