Summer School: Sookmyung Women’s University

Founded by the Korean royal family during the Joseon Dynasty, Sookmyung Women’s University is Korea’s first royal private women’s educational institute, and Korea’s leading women’s university. Most recently, the University established the first Research Institute for Asian Women and the Asia Pacific Women’s Information Network Center, reflecting a historical determination to cultivate global talent. Through the co-ed Sookmyung International Summer School, you can study with world-class faculty instructors from partner institutions worldwide and make friends from all over the world, all while exploring Seoul!


Sookmyung International Summer School (SISS)

Credit Equivalency: 5.0 credits at UofT = 30 credits

Housing: On-campus housing is guaranteed.

Restricted programs: For students enrolled in the Education and Society program at Victoria College only.

Note: Number of exchange spots is limited. Students can choose to apply to the Sookmyung Women’s University independently and pay tuition fee directly to the host institution. For further information, please contact the Learning Abroad office.
