Summer School: Peking University – Doing Business in China

Peking University (PKU) has been a key institution in China’s higher education system since it was established in 1898, and today is one of the most respected universities in China. The main campus is located in northwest Beijing, home to the largest number of Global Fortune 500 companies in the world, and the capital of one of the fastest growing economies in the world. PKU’s Doing Business in China (DBIC) Program is a two week summer course that provides students with the essential tools needed to do business in China, through subject-specific modules, company visits, and cultural activities. Sessions are available in May or June.

Doing Business in China Program

Credit Equivalency: 5.0 credits at UofT = 36 credits. Students should complete 3 credits at Peking University.

Housing: Accommodation will be arranged with a local hotel by the host university

Restricted Programs: Open to Rotman School of Management students only. Preference is given to third-year students.

Note: Number of exchange spots is limited. Students can choose to apply to the Peking University independently and pay tuition fee directly to the host institution. For further information, please contact the Learning Abroad office.
