Exchange: National University of Singapore (NUS): Internship Program

Live, work, and study among entrepreneurs in Asia’s hottest innovation ecosystem!

The NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) began in 2001 with a cooperation between National University of Singapore and Stanford University. It is all about providing students with the entrepreneurial experience they need to start-up their own journey.

The NOC internship programme provides mentorship for aspiring student entrepreneurs by providing them with access to entrepreneurship-focused courses and resources and by facilitating work experiences with start-ups.

The program is offered in the winter (January to end of June) and fall (July to end of December) terms.  Students take academic courses at NUS and engage in a full-time paid internship (min 750 SGD/month) with start-ups or established but innovative companies in Singapore. You may earn 1.5 credit from the internship and up to 1.0 credit for course work.  Applicants will be invited for an interview as part of the selection process to determine suitability and assess professionalism given the global reputation of the program. Once nominated, NUS and U of T will support students in securing an internship however, students will be required to complete a professional CV and interviews with companies.
