Summer School: Korean Advanced Institute of Science & Technology

KAIST, South Korea’s first and top research university for science and technology, is growing into a globally competitive institution by producing elite scientists and engineers. KAIST is comprised of three campuses: the Main and IT convergence campuses are located in Daejeon and the Business School in Seoul, all teaching most undergraduate courses in English.


Credit Equivalency: 5.0 credits at UofT = 32 credits. Min.max. courses/credits tbc

Students can apply to:

1. KAIST International Summer SchoolStudents can choose between course-oriented program and research program. (tbc)
2. Engineering students can participate in the NEREC Young Fellows Program (undergraduate), or the NEREC Graduate Fellows Program (graduate) with the Nuclear Nonproliferation Education and Research Center. Program details updated in January 2020.

Housing: On-campus housing is not guaranteed but host university will help in securing housing.
