UTrecht Summer School offers students a chance to take courses during the summer on a range of topics in the following areas:

Data Science
Business & Economics
Engineering & Technology
Healthcare
Humanities
Language
Law
Life Sciences
Science
Social Sciences

As a partner of UofT, students may receive a partner discount of 10% if they enroll in these courses.

Round-trip flights, accommodations, meals and personal spending, are not included in the program fee.

Please note that while this is an independently run summer school through our partner UTrecht, UofT students who are accepted into the program and are in financial need, may apply for the IE+ Award.

Transfer Credit

This program is not eligible to transfer academic credit back to UofT.

Co-Curricular Record 

This experience is a verified Co-Curricular Record (CCR) activity. Getting this activity added to your CCR is optional. If you are interested, please contact global.el@utoronto.ca with your name and student number, to inquire about the requirements for CCR recognition.

Safety Abroad

While these internships are independent through KU Leuven, as a partner of UofT, this program is still considered university-related, and in order to receive the discounted rate, nominated students will need to complete the Safety Abroad requirements 4 weeks or more before departure. Please email global.el@utoronto.ca for more information on how to fill in the registry.

This is an independently-run internship program by UTrecht, and is not part of CIE. Applicants must apply directly through UTrecht.
