Mannheim Business School is a top-ranked business school in Germany. Their Summer School gives graduate and upper-year undergraduate students an opportunity to meet people from all over the world to increase their professional network through discussions with experienced practitioners. Consistently holding top positions in national rankings, Mannheim is one of only German institutions to hold all three major international accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA).
Students can choose to apply to one, two or all three modules:
- Artificial Intelligence in Business (June 30 – July 4, 2025)
- Corporate Sustainability Strategy (July 7 – July 11, 025)
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation (July 14 – 18, 2025)
Program Fees
The program fee/tuition is paid directly to Mannheim Business School. The fees depend on the number of modules you take, and UofT students benefit from a partner discount:
- Total fee for one module: EUR 990 (for UofT students €950)
- Total fee for two modules: EUR 1,900 (for UofT students €1,800)
- Total fee for three modules: EUR 2,700 (for UofT students €2,550)
Students may be eligible for a financial-needs based award for this experience through the IE+ Award. Please note that the processing time for IE+ Award applications takes up to six weeks. Additionally; if you are eligible to receive an IE+ Award, your award will only be paid if and when all pre-departure requirements are completed. You will not receive funds until you arrive at the site of your experience.
Transfer Credit
These courses are not eligible to transfer back credit.
Co-Curricular Record (CCR)
This experience is a verified CCR experience. To get the activity added to your CCR you must attend one Intercultural Development workshop, complete the Safety Abroad requirements, and complete the Summer School course(s) successfully. Email global.el@utoronto.ca to request the activity to be added to your CCR.
How to Apply:
1. Apply directly to the host institution and pay tuition to the host institution. To benefit from the discounted rate, you must use your @mail.utoronto.ca email to apply. By applying to Mannheim Business School, you acknowledge that your information will be shared with U of T for follow up.
2. If you choose to, you may apply for the IE+ Award.
3. Complete the Safety Abroad requirements (including both the Safety Abroad Registry and Workshop) prior to departure. Only students who complete the Safety Abroad Workshop modules are eligible for a possible discount on the program fees at the host institution, and eligible for CCR and the IE+ award.
