KU Leuven‘s Summer School “Europe Inside Out” gives students the opportunity to develop their personal and professional development.
This unique experience can be taken as a two-week or three-week program.
Jointly offered by the Faculties of Economics & Business, Arts and Social Sciences, the course will include lectures on Doing Business with Europe(ans); Policies & Politics in the EU; Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Europe and Social & Cultural Interactions.
Participants will also visit Brussels, Antwerp and Paris on day-trips.
Fees
There is a discounted program fee of €300 for UofT students participating in this program. The discounted program fee is €600 and should be paid directly to KU Leuven. This fee includes:
- High-quality teaching of internationally renowned professors
- 36 hours of academic lectures (18 lectures, 2 hours each)
- Visit of the European Parliament including Q&A with a Member of Parliament
- Company visit
- Social program
Round-trip flights, accommodations, meals and personal spending, are not included in the program fee.
Please note that while this is an independently run summer school through our partner KU Leuven, UofT students who are accepted into the program and are in financial need, may apply for the IE+ Award.
Transfer Credit
This program is not eligible to transfer academic credit back to UofT.

Safety Abroad
While these internships are independent through KU Leuven, as a partner of UofT, this program is still considered university-related, and in order to receive the discounted rate, nominated students will need to complete the Safety Abroad requirements 4 weeks or more before departure.
