Summer Research: Humboldt University of Berlin

Established more than 200 years ago, in 1810, the Humboldt University of Berlin is one of the most prestigious universities not only in Germany, but in Europe. It has a world class reputation in arts and humanities fields. Students can apply to research projects in biology, neuroscience, chemistry, computer sciences, engineering, physics, psychology, and music.

 

Credit Equivalency: 5.0 credits at UofT = 60 ECTS. For research max./min. 6 ECTS

Research Projects: Humboldt Internship Program

Housing: On-campus housing is not available but Studentenwek will help in securing housing.

Funding: Students applying to Humboldt University of Berlin for 12 weeks should also apply for Globalink Research Award. Successful GRA applicants will not be considered for $3000 CIE funding and IE Award because the GRA amount is the greater of the two.

Application Requirements: Application documents listed here must be uploaded to the Student Exchange Portal (SEP) by December 3, 2019. Nominated UofT students will get an extended application period to the Humboldt International Program.
