Summer School: Goethe University of Frankfurt

Goethe University Frankfurt, positioned among the top international research universities, offers a wide variety of academic programmes, a diverse group of research institutes, and a focus on interdisciplinary approaches to solving complex problems. Summer courses are offered in Psychology, Legal Studies, and Natural and Life Sciences. Modules are multidisciplinary and many are unrestricted, so students are encouraged to take courses outside of their disciplines.


Credit Equivalency: 5.0 credits at UofT = 60 credits

Frankfurt Summer School 2020

Students can choose between two options:

(1) Two 2 week modules, for a total of 4 weeks (8 ECTS, credit equivalency 0.5 UofT credits) or

(2) Two 2 week modules (4 weeks total), and a German language course (12 ECTS, credit equivalency 1.0 UofT credits)

Funding: Full funding (excepting cultural immersion components, such as day trips) provided from the host university to a limited number of students; students not receiving host funding can apply for an IE Award
