Restricted programs: Medicine and Dentistry are restricted. Courses offered by Schools of English, History, Politics, Business, Law, Sociology & Social Policy, and the Foreign Language Teaching Unit may have fewer course options. A portfolio is required to apply for Fine Art and Design courses.
At Leeds a module can be taught for one semester only, or it can be taught over the full academic year. If you are at Leeds for one semester only, you cannot take modules that run over the full year. The following schools teach the majority of their modules across the full academic year (semester 1&2) so consider your application carefully if you are applying for a single semester and are required to take modules in these subject areas: Chemical and Process Engineering (CAPE) Design (Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing modules) Electronic and Electrical Engineering (ELEC) Languages (ARAB, FREN, GERM, ITAL, SPPO) Law (LAW) Mechanical Engineering (MECH) Fine Art studio modules are only taught in Semester 1 (Fall Term) or across the full academic year.
Housing: On-campus housing is guaranteed for nominated exchange students from U of T who submit their housing application by the deadline stipulated by the host institution. Students must follow instructions from the host institution, and specific room types and/or locations may not be guaranteed. Please find more information here.
Please note: Students participating in the Fall Term exchange will receive their official transcript from Leeds in the summer. Students going to Leeds cannot graduate in June of the same academic year.
