Exchange: Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is a university under direct administration of China’s Ministry of Education and sponsorship of both the Ministry and Shanghai Municipality. It is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in China, and has brought up over 100,000 talented people for the country. Students have taken courses here in Life Sciences, Engineering and Statistics.

Credit Equivalency: 30 Credits = 5.0 UofT FCE

Restricted Courses: All courses from School of Medicine and Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance. Graduate Programs offered by Antai College of Economics & Management. Undergraduate courses are not available for Graduate students. English-taught courses in the KoGuan Law School and School of International and Public Affairs are offered only for graduate exchange students. Please note that not all of the graduate courses are available to undergraduate exchange students.

Housing: On-campus housing is not guaranteed but the host institution will assist in securing housing. Please find more information here.
