The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland specializes in dance, drama, film, music and production. It was originally established in 1847 as part of the Glasgow Athenaeum. The conservatoire offers undergraduate degree programmes in six areas of the performing and production arts: dance, drama, education, film, music and production. Postgraduate students have the option to study drama, education, music or producing.
