Summer School: Beihang University

Beihang University (BUAA) is China’s first university of aerospace technology, combining disciplines in science, engineering, liberal arts, law, economics, management and education. BUAA offers some bachelor, international master and doctoral programs in English. Students in the past have taken courses at BUAA in Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering, and East Asian studies. Students pay 1.0 U of T tuition fees and part-time incidental fees, and local expenses will be covered by Beihang University.

Beihang International Summer School (ISS)Four-week program held in July, open for undergraduate students. Over 60 courses are offered in English, covering a wide range of disciplines in Sciences, Engineering and Humanities. Students also have opportunities to acquire knowledge of China and Chinese culture.

International Graduate Summer School in Aeronautics and Astronautics (IGSS)- One-week program held in July, open for postgraduate students. Activities include seminars, lectures, team competition, and technical tours. The program aims at stimulating creative thinking and promoting exchanges among graduate students from across the world in the field of aeronautics and astronautics.
